Techniques for Under-Eye Fat Removal (Lower Lid Blepharoplasty)
At Sky Clinic, we conduct a careful assessment and analysis before surgery. The ophthalmologist evaluates the amount and distribution of under-eye fat, as well as the surrounding eye structures, to determine the most appropriate treatment approach for each individual. Generally, the techniques used to address under-eye fat accumulation include the following:
The cost of the scarless under-eye bag removal technique starts at 24,900 THB. The procedure involves removing under-eye fat through a small incision made on the inner surface of the lower eyelid. As there is no external skin incision, there is no visible external scar and no need for stitch removal. This technique may suit individuals with under-eye bags who have minimal to no excess lower eyelid skin.

The cost of the under-eye fat repositioning technique starts at 30,000 THB. It involves repositioning the patient’s existing under-eye fat to areas with deep hollows. It is suitable for those with deep under-eyes or under-eye hollows. It is suitable for those with deep under-eye hollows. This technique can be performed together with either the scarless or the external incision under-eye bag removal technique. After the procedure, this technique helps the under-eye area look smoother and more natural.
*** For those who have both under-eye bags and deep hollows: If fat repositioning is not performed, the under-eye bags will improve, but the existing hollows will remain. If you do not wish to undergo fat repositioning, under-eye filler injections can also be used as an alternative. It is recommended to wait 2–3 months after surgery before receiving filler injections, as the appropriate timing may vary depending on each case.
The preliminary costs for each technique, as well as any additional expenses that may occur, are provided to help patients make an informed decision before receiving treatment.
| Service | Service | Additional Costs |
| Scarless Technique (Transconjunctival) | 24,900 | Other medication costs |
| External Incision Technique (Transcutaneous) | 35,900 | Other medication costs and wound cleaning set |
| Under-Eye Fat Repositioning Technique | 30,000 |
Procedure Steps
The procedure begins with an assessment of the location of the under-eye fat to be removed. Local anesthesia is then administered, followed by the placement of a Corneal Shield, which is a contact lens used to protect the eye during surgery. The surgery is then performed to remove excess under-eye fat. In some cases, fat repositioning or excess skin removal may also be performed. The surgery takes approximately 45–60 minutes, and stitches are removed 7 days after surgery, depending on the technique performed. The results may vary depending on each individual’s underlying eye structure.
*** Before undergoing surgery, patients will have a consultation with the doctor. The doctor will diagnose the condition and determine the most appropriate surgical technique for each patient. The technique may vary from person to person depending on the eye concerns, eye structure, and individual preferences.

Before receiving treatment at Sky Clinic, many patients have questions about the cost details and other related services. This section compiles frequently asked questions about price assessments to help clarify concerns and provide basic budget information for those considering an assessment of the structures around their eyes.
The preliminary price usually covers the service fee on the day of the procedure and stitch removal 7 days after surgery. However, medication and medical supplies to take home, as well as any additional examinations or assessments that may be necessary for each individual, may be charged separately. We recommend asking the staff for details about any additional costs before agreeing to the treatment.

However, exceptions may apply when there is a clear medical indication that the condition affects vision. Patients should check their coverage conditions directly with their insurance company.
An initial assessment of the eye structure by an ophthalmologist may involve a separate examination fee in addition to the cost of the surgical procedure. We recommend checking the examination fee details with the clinic before making an appointment.
