Medial Epicanthoplasty is to remove the skin at the inner corner of the eyes. This operation is to make the eyelid more open, longer in shape and look more natural. This is commonly performed with double eyelid surgery. 

 Medial Epicanthoplasty is suitable for

for patients who need to have a parallel crease, have a closed inner corner of the eyes or have asymmetric shape of eyelid fold. However this operation must be assessed and analyzed by a doctor because it may not be necessary in some cases.

 Procedure of the surgery

• Design the incision line

• Local anesthesia is injected on the particular area

• Create the incision and remove the skin at inner corner of eyes

• Suturing by using premium stitch (micro-sized)

• Takes around 30 minutes to complete

• Commonly performed with double eyelid surgery
